Michael McCain

Mr. M.H. McCain is the Executive Chair of Canada Packers. He is also Executive Chair of Maple Leaf Foods, joining Maple Leaf Foods in April 1995 as President and Chief Operating Officer and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in January 1999. Prior to joining Maple Leaf Foods, Mr. M.H. McCain spent 16 years with McCain Foods in Canada and the United States, where he was President and Chief Executive Officer of McCain Foods USA. He is a director of MCI and Maple Leaf Foods. He is a member of the Richard Ivey School of Business Advisory Board, the Business Council of Canada, and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Foundation. He is also the Honorary Chair of the Maple Leaf Foods Centre for Action on Food Security.
